Driver Eric Norris Reunites 2002 Championship Crew For Las Vegas 350
The trek to Las Vegas is full of memories and opportunities for driver Eric Norris and the Green Light Racing #07 Pavestone Chevrolet. Norris is committed to showing the team’s strength this Saturday night in the Las Vegas 350. Norris won his 2002 Grand National West title at the Vegas track. Even though Norris is not in the hunt for a Championship this season, it is crystal clear he wants to run up front and win.
Eric Norris and the Green Light Racing team are focused on producing performance results. Under the leadership of veteran owner and driver Bobby Dotter and Crew Chief Doug Howe, The #07 “Over the Wall Crew” will be comprised of Norris’ 2002 Grand National West Series Championship Team.
“It’s the first time since clinching our championship that we’re back together as a team,” Norris said. “This is exciting for all of us. It is a reunion of sorts. The members of my team all continue to work in NASCAR racing. Many of them made special arrangements so they could race with me this weekend. It will be a sentimental and exciting race for us. The chemistry is really right for this race,” Norris said. “I know Green Light Racing has the strength, as a competitor in the truck series. I want to be able to show everyone what we can do.”
Team Owner Gene Christensen said, “Our speedway program has been getting better and better. “I honestly think Eric has the talent to put a solid showing together for us in Las Vegas. Everyone is geared up for this one.”
“It’s great to have a team come together the way this one has,” says Norris. “It is a pleasure to represent Pavestone both on and off the track. Pavestone is a great company to work with. It is impressive how much they add to the Las Vegas landscape. Hopefully, we can have another great run for the sponsors, team and my old crew.”
