NORRIS QUALIFIES 23rd AT KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY
Sparta, KY – Eric Norris will make his 15th career start in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series in the Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Norris’ speed of 31.013 seconds (174.121 Mph) places him 23rd in the field of 36. “I was really hoping that we could have run a little faster,” said a disappointed Norris. “We did pick up some from practice, but not as much as I’d hoped. “ Norris will make his first career start at the 1.5-mile track. “I got comfortable here pretty quickly, “ says Norris. “We have a really good truck that I think will race better than a lot of people think. I’m looking forward to the green flag tonight.”
The “Built Ford Tough 225,” presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers will begin at 8:15pm EST. The race will be broadcast live on the Speed Network.
