Eric Norris To Make Second Season Start This Weekend At “Built Ford Tough 225” Presented by The Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers at Kentucky Speedway
Eric Norris will make his second start of the 2005 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. Norris will be driving the #07 Pavestone Chevrolet Silverado, fielded by Green Light Racing. This will be Norris' debut at the 1.5 mile track. As the team arrives in Sparta, KY and begins to unload for this weekend's event, Norris and his crew are looking forward to a strong run. Even though Norris is a first timer on this track, he is not a rookie. The 2002 NASCAR Grand National West Series Champion knows that even with his experience, you can’t take anything for granted. “It’s always a challenge racing somewhere new, “ says Norris. “I respect every track I go to and try to learn as much as I can before I pull out of the garage. NASCAR recently made an adjustment to the track schedule, placing the first practice on Friday evening (June 8th). “They (NASCAR) made a good move changing the practice to tomorrow (Friday) evening,” says Norris. “It will give me a much better idea about what track conditions will be like when we qualify Saturday.”
-More-
"We’re bringing the same truck that we raced in Texas, so I know we’llbe good off the trailer and have a chance to run up front," Norris said. "I feel very fortunate to be able to have Pavestone as a sponsor and the Green Light team to work with. I am thrilled to be part of it all. I will do my best to get a solid run this weekend. We want to get a top-10 finish this time."
